I'm looking for feedback for this section. There are many issues facing the transgender community, and this is the place I'd like to address them. There are several local groups and organizations who are independantly working towards many of these issues. I envison CAGA being the "melting pot" for all groups, a place where all can come together as one community working together.

avatar Hey everyone
I have learned to get the LGB community to recognise the
"T" we can no longer sit and wait. Find your local GLB"T" group
and get involved in their activities.
I have been involved as I can be with
PPC and Flagstaff pride. It takes as much educating the BLG's as it does the
straight world.
Educate yourselves then present yourself and be there to help
aid them, thereby, aiding yourself. On the whole it is easier to educate most
GLB because they are eager to try to understand where we come from.
As
"T"'s we are also LGB"S" (straigt)

I agree Rose! We need to educate the GLB community as well as the
public.

There's a whole new "T" section on the Join the Impact site for
just that purpose also...

You can find it

T-Time has been absorbed into the PPC (Prescott Pride Center) activities.
We have been holding T-Time at PPC for nearly 7 months as just a
small splinter group. There were a couple of months of sitting by
myself. But over the last few meetings we have had several show up to
nearly 4 to 5 hours of discussion and support. We have invited
those who wish to learn about being trans but as of yet  we have not
had the oportunity to teach. But, by being present at the many other
activities of the center we have made a difference in how we
are precieved. Persistance does pay.
Love Ya
Rose
