Please join Marriage Equality USA - Arizona and H.E.R.O. (Human and Equal Rights Organizers) to Light Up the Night!

Light Up the Night Candle

Please bring non-perishable food items for a donation to a local food bank. Our intent is for this peaceful vigil and food donation to show the positive impact the LGBT community has on the community around us.

*This is a silent vigil. BUT songs will be sung- be ready with your favorites!**

To help ensure the success of this event we are currently looking for volunteers to help with the following:

1) Collecting food bank donations
2) Directing people to the bridge from the Mill Ave area
3) Donations of coffee and hot chocolate from Starbucks or other coffee shops
4) People to serve those drinks and distribute fact sheets regarding the importance of our right to Marriage Equality
5) Choirs or strong singers to lead the group in songs about justice, equality, civil rights, or even some holiday tunes...
6) Photographers and videogrphers to record the event
7) People to offer rideshare and carpool availability to ensure everyone who wishes to attend is able.

Please spread the word and invite anyone who believes in our right to Marriage Equality. This is part of a national event and our unique and picturesque location gives us the opportunity to create a memorable one-of-a-kind event.
